Yacht details Location: Med Type: Sail Length: 43m Usage: Both CREW VACANCY Job ID: 03538 43m SY Chief Stew Looking for a strong Chief Stew to join this busy charter and private SY, the current chief is moving onto the owner's new build so will be around for a good handover and to answer any questions moving forward. The chief must have strong service experience and excellent organisational skills - looking to have someone join early October. The yacht will cruise the Mediterranean and Caribbean over the next year with future plans to be confirmed. This winter they will be in Mallorca's STP for some extensive maintenance, so there will be a good oppo to learn the yacht and get to know the crew. The interior team consists of two, so this is a hands on role requiring someone proactive detail oriented and confident leading by example. Candidates must have solid experience in service and interior operations with high standards in all areas. They’re open to experienced Chief Stewardesses or strong Second Stewardesses from larger vessels ready to step into their first leadership role. Requirements: • Strong background in service • Good knowledge of housekeeping and furnishings • Warm, approachable management style • Highly organised and confident managing systems • Professional demeanour • STCW, ENG1, and Food & Hygiene Level 2 This is a low alcohol environment.
