45m SY Y3 Engineer - Rotation 8wks on/off
Starting asap - late Nov to join and do the crossing for a handover with the previous engo who's stepped back on - he was with the programme years (I placed him). Salary DOE €7-8k x 12. Private yacht, built by Fitzroy in 2009. They have recently undertaken their 15yr survey in Pendennis, did a top end rebuild with Pon Power and all is running well. Completed annual too, refit projects included new PLC, new RO, chillers, refrigeration, hydraulic overhaul, and other stuff. Must hold Y3 or SV chief 500 for safe manning - they have one charter next year so have switched back to commercial reg but other than that they're private. Captains are british, mate is SA, CS English, Chef SA, Deck/eng is NZ. Easy going group, active, socialise together. They're doing Carib winter, then Med summer, then next winter will be in Vilanova, with view to heading to Sweden for the following summer season.
