Yacht details Location: South Pacific Type: Sail Length: 60m Usage: Private CREW VACANCY Job ID: 03577 60m SY Deck/Dive/Videographer The position we are looking to fill is one that wears a few hats. Our current crew member is leaving us after 2.5 years onboard. We are looking for someone to join us around the 18th of January in Panama City to do a handover. All the standard STCW95 certificates and ENG1 medical required. Yacht master would be fantastic but not mandatory. We would need someone with at least an open water instructor qualification. Most of the time we do get local guides onboard for the local knowledge but from our operation side our deck/dive crew member will be responsible for all the equipment and making sure the dive ops run smoothly. Our owners are dive masters and all crew are qualified divers. This role also gets hands on with the scientific trip we host onboard. The vessel has its own camera equipment and underwater housing, but familiarity with this equipment is essential. When there are no diving ops going on, the crew member would be busy with normal deck duties alongside our deck team ( 1st Officer, Bosun, Deck/Dive, Deckhand) Our program is based around diving and sailing (sailing skills not essential as they can learn onboard) , our itinerary is taking us back to French Polynesia from March and based in the South pacific until September (French Poly, Tonga, Vanuatu) before heading back through the Panama Canal. Package is:- Salary DOE $4500-$4800 give or take. 42 days annual leave. 13th month salary payment and seasonal bonus scheme.
