New team are currently being assembled and captain has just joined. AEC1&2 absolute minimum but ideally Y4s or MEOLs for safe manning. Both engineers will have good previous sail engineering experience and be capable of setting up and running the ER and all associated reporting and paperwork. Private use only, permanent role, rotation will be 2/2 or 3/3. Salary depends on experience. Yacht is undergoing a refit in Europe, estimated launch is end of March 2026. Big project. The new captain and engineer will work with the project manager and the old captain who's been involved for some years and is a wealth of knowledge and experience. They'd like the first engineer to join immediately. The engos will work with the captain to establish PMS, mini ISM, update ops manual etc. Would like to find an engineer with Y / SV tix to demonstrate familiarity with working on compliance with code, and good practice. Yacht runs with 6 crew, capt, mate, eng, chef, stew, deck. There are 3 guest cabins, for max 6 guests. Owner is looking for crew who are fluent in English. Itinerary will be single and dual season some years, Med mostly, and some Carib winters. The accommodation area has been stripped out completely and the interior is going back in now. New hydraulics, plumbing systems, electrics, lighting, AMS systems. Engine room was gutted in 2019 and new ME, generators etc installed, so no major work- servicing required and systems cleaned up, snagged.
