Starting late April. Looking for a chief with similar experience (eg 60m+ as chief). Yacht is owned by 3 British brothers who use the yacht individually with their family and friends. Families treat the crew very well. Team of 5 in the interior including the Chief Stew and a fulltime laundry guy. Summers in the Med and winters most recently in the Caribbean. Varied itinerary with a few “off the milk run” locations thrown in. Salary DOE €, good range. There is a 13th month bonus which is not contractual but has been paid every year to all crew. The 3 families are quite different in how they use the yacht with the youngest brother and his family regularly have 12 guests on their cruises and utilise the toys most of the day, They like 3 course dinners with silver service (not full). Theme nights are a regular thing with 1 or 2 a week. They very much appreciate good table decorations. Wine knowledge would be a bonus. On for 5 weeks every August and 2-3 weeks in winter. Middle brother and his family usually have around 8 guests. Use the yacht for approx. 3-4 weeks in July and again 2-3 weeks in winte.r Not as heavy use of facilities and less in terms of themed nights etc and less formal dinner.s Again very good to crew and treat them well. Eldest brother usually has around 6 guests and quite relaxed cruises but with still high level of service expected. Most winters will use the yacht around March for 2 weeks and in summer will do a cruise at the start and end of the season – both times around 2 weeks. Yacht runs with 19 crew and a mix of South African, British (main 2 nationalities) with Bulgarian, Filipino, Kiwis etc. Will need to be female due to cabins. Preferably no visible tattoos. Fluent in English. Strong character, good leader, and able to lead by example.
